On Saturday March 3, local schools will gather at Lincoln County Middle School to take part in the Regional Governor’s Cup Competition.
 
Participating elementary schools are: Camp Dick Robinson Elementary, Paint Lick Elementary, Lancaster Elementary, Woodlawn Elementary, Edna L. Toliver Elementary, Perryville Elementary, Jennie Rogers Elementary, Mary G. Hogsett Elementary, Junction City Elementary, Hustonville Elementary, McKinney Elementary, Stanford Elementary, Waynesburg Elementary, Crab Orchard Elementary and Highland Elementary.

The Governor’s Cup features eight events, including Quick Recall. The Quick Recall event is the only one open to the public. That event begins at 11 a.m.

The academic competition is being hosted by Highland Elementary, but has been moved to LCMS to accommodate the large crowd that is expected.
