Both the Lincoln County Lady Patriot and Patriot basketball teams will be spending their holiday break on the road.

The Lady Patriots opened holiday play Tuesday night at Lexington Catholic in the Traditional Bank Holiday Classic and the Patriots began holiday play Wednesday night in the Arby’s/KFC Holiday Classic at McCreary Central. Results from the Lincoln-Wayne County boys game were not available at press time.

The Lincoln girls will continue play in the Traditional Bank Classic through Saturday, Dec. 23. Their next game is tonight (Thursday) at 6 p.m. as they take on Murray. Their remaining game times and opponents are TBA.

The Lincoln boys have a set schedule for the remainder of the Arby’s/KFC tourney. They play host McCreary Central tonight (Thursday) at 7:30. On Friday, the Patriots play Russell County at 6 p.m. and it’s a rematch with Somerset Saturday at 4:30 p.m.

After Christmas, the Lady Patriots will be heading to Murray High School for the Lady Tiger Classic while the Patriots travel to Campbellsville High School for its Holiday Classic.

The Lady Patriots open the Lady Tiger Classic on Thursday, Dec. 28, against Christian County. The tourney continues through Saturday, Dec. 30. All times and opponents are TBA.

Lincoln’s boys open at Campbellsville on Thursday, Dec. 28, taking on Bardstown at 4:45 p.m. This tourney also runs through Dec. 30, and all times and opponents are TBA.
