Lincoln County cross country had plenty of reason to cheer in its final meet of the regular season, as the girls and boys varsity and middle school runners swept the competition in their own Death Valley All-Comers meet.

Alexis Slone won the girls varsity 5K in a time of 23:23.26, Gabe Singleton took the boys varsity in 20:26.68, Ava Morgan crossed in first-place in the girls middle school 4K in 17:13.80 and Sam Singleton outraced his fellow boys middle-school competitors to the finish in 14:46.49.

The meet was a small all-comers, with Richmond Model, Burgin, Garrard County and the Lake Cumberland runners joining Lincoln on course.
