Lincoln County stranger shows good people still exist

Dear Editor,

I am writing to express my gratitude to the unknown gentlemen that helped my wife and I with a flat tire on our trailer as we travelled through Lincoln County on Wednesday, Oct. 4.

We had a blow-out on our boat trailer at the bottom of Hall’s Gap and pulled off of the road.

As I was assessing the problem, we didn’t have a spare, a very nice senior gentleman pulled up in his white Ford Ranger and asked if he could help.

He proceeded to assist me with removing the tire. He called a tire store for me to locate a replacement tire. He then transported me, and the tire to the tire store across from the Dairy Queen. The tire store quickly mounted the new tire for me and got us on our way at a very fair price. We then returned to my trailer and waiting wife, and the gentleman helped remount the wheel. Unfortunately, I did not get the gentleman’s name. So, I hope he sees this in your paper. It is good to know that there are still good people like him in the world.
