John Wayne McGuire, 68, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 15 in Sparks, Ga.

Born June 14,1949, in Stanford, John Wayne was the son of Christine Henderson of Stanford and the late John McGuire and also the stepson of the late Amel Henderson.

Other survivors include one brother, Dana Henderson of Stanford; two daughters, Tonya Smith of Sparks, Ga., and Tina Watkins of Paris, Ky.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Saturday, Aug. 19 at Purvis Funeral Home in Adel, Ga.
