Robert Lee West, 60 of Stanford passed away on Monday, July 17th at the Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Danville. He was born in Ohio on November 29, 1956 to the late William and Juanita (Newman) West. Robert had worked most of his life as a carpenter and enjoyed fishing, woodworking, saw mills and loved and treasured his grandkids.

Survivors Include his Daughter Shanda West-Powell and Husband Lee of Pensecola, FL; Son, Robert West, Jr. and Wife Pam of Moreland; Daughter, Ashley West of Stanford; Daughter, Katie Stalcup and Husband Gabe of Somerset;

Grandchildren: Rowdy, Lacey “Bug”, Taylor, Rielly, Bobby “Flip” & Clara; 4 Sisters: Anna Marie Downey of Carlisle, Ohio

Adda Lewis of Waverly, Ohio, Rissa Rose and Husband Clyde of Waverly, Ohio, Ethel West-Morgan of Stanford.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by Brothers: Kenneth, Derris, Raymond and Leon West; Sisters: Nora May Dalton & Alma Daniels.

Honoring his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of his life will take place, on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Cedar Creek Sportsmans Club.
