Mary Louise Ratliff, 86, of Falmouth (formerly of Stanford) passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at home.

Born May 10, 1931, in Straight Creek, Ky., Mary was a daughter of the late George and Nellie Catherine Brock Davis. She was a former employee of Cowden’s Inc., Evergreens Retirement Home and the owner of Mary’s Coffee Shop. She was a member of South Fork Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Richard Wayne Ratliff of Bethel, Ohio; one daughter, Paula L. Wilder (Larry) of Falmouth; one sister, Barbara Jean Proffitt of Florida; six grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Michael David Ratliff and Bert Bowling, Jr.; and six brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today  (Thursday, July 6)  at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel in Stanford. Visitation is prior to the funeral service starting at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery, Stanford.
