The Lincoln County High School chorus and drama departments brought the darkly delirious world of Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Wednesday, Pugsley, Grandma and, of course, Lurch to spooky and spectacular life with their presentation of the musical comedy “The Addams Family” this past weekend. Katie McWhorter (Morticia), Riley Bodner (Lurch), Sarah Clem (Wednesday), Samuel Bullock (Gomez), Weston Baker (Pugsley), Alli House (Grandma) and Trey Baldwin (Uncle Fester) brought the iconic lead characters to life as the musical hit the planks of the Stuart Underwood Auditorium stage. In the musical comedy, modeled after the beloved TV series and movies, Wednesday Addams has grown up and fallen in love with Lucas Beineke, a young man from a “normal” family. The musical follows Beineke, played by Solomon Smith, in his introduction to the creepy, kooky Addams Family.
