Race for a Cure set for April 1; $20 early registration fee deadline is FRIDAY, MARCH 24

Lincoln County Relay for Life’s 10th Annual Race for a Cure 5K Race/3K Walk will be held on Saturday, April 1, in downtown Stanford.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m. on race day and the race will start at 9 a.m. in front of the Stanford Christian Church on Main Street.
The early registration fee (by March 24) is $20. Late registration (March 25-race day) is $25. For those wishing to register to “Skip the Event,” same fees apply. All registered participants and “Skip the Event-ers” will receive a t-shirt, but only pre-registered participants are guaranteed a t-shirt on event day.
Entry fees benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
The overall male and female in the 5K only will receive a $50 cash prize. Awards will be given to the first-, second- and third-place male and female in each age division of the 5K only. All participants will be entered into a drawing for door prizes during the awards ceremony. A Fitbit will be awarded to the wackiest dressed participant.
The age divisions, for male and female, are: 10 & Under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; and 65 & Over.
