Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital (EMFLH) is pleased to recognize and honor one of its nurses for her extraordinary patient care. Alisha Hall, BSN, RN, a nurse in the Birthing Spa at EMFLH, was one of many nurses nominated for the DAISY Award. A resident of Pulaski County, Alisha has been caring for patients at EMFLH for just over a year.
She was nominated by a co-worker, a patient and several family members of patients. One of the patients said, “I was in labor for 18 hours and cannot have an epidural for pain because of my allergies. Alisha stood by my side the whole time. She went above her duty to make sure she did everything possible for me and my family. She is very kind, helpful and understanding.”
Ephraim McDowell is proud to recognize nurses with the DAISY Award, a national program that honors the compassionate care and clinical excellence that nurses bring to their patients every day. Nomination forms for the DAISY Award are available at various locations throughout EMFLH and Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center and online at www.emhealth.org.
