Ralph G. Gooch, 91

Ralph G. Gooch, 91, of Kings Mountain, KY, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 at home.
Born July 31, 1925, in King Mountain, Ralph was a son of the late Lloyd and Grace Trimble Gooch and the widower of Ruth Gooch, his wife of 50 years. Mr. Gooch was a World War II veteran having served in the United States Army and a retired employee of Estepp Home Improvement where he worked for 26 years. He also attended Kings Mountain Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Carl Gooch (Janet) of Stanford; two daughters, Wanda Berry (Russell) of Waynesburg and Donna Delaney (Barry) of Stanford; two brothers, Paul Gooch (Jean) and Johnnie Gooch (Louise) both of Fairfield, Ohio; one sister, Mary Holly Thompson (Lynnville) of Mason, Ohio; four grandchildren, Mark Berry (Michelle), Ken Berry (Melisha), Joe Berry (Bethany) and Sarah Delaney all of Stanford; four great-grandchildren, Connor Berry, Chase Taylor, Makenna Berry and Maleeah Berry; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Kenneth Gooch, Ray Gooch, James Gooch, Bobby Gooch and Raymond Gooch; two sisters, Lillian Marlatt and Helen Monahan; three great-grandchildren, Moses and Amelia Berry and Kenadey Berry; a special niece, Judy Bullock; and several more nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford with Bro. Barry Delaney and Joe Berry officiating. Burial followed in Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford, KY.
