Praise the Lord from the Stanford Church of the Nazarene. Our hope is that you will find our article both informative and a blessing in some small way.
Our mission at Stanford Nazarene Church is to share the gospel message of Jesus to the world and to be a place of healing and hope to all in need. This past Sunday we began the Advent season with our anticipation of the coming of the Lord by looking at Romans 13 on the subject of “Wake Up!” Also Youth Pastor Dennis Hasty blessed us on Sunday night with the Word!
We are pleased to announce that our Sunday evening worship services will begin at 5 p.m.
Join us on Wednesday, Dec.14 for the Children’s Christmas party and on Sunday, Dec. 18 for our Christmas Jubilee!
Instead of having a service on Sunday, Dec. 25, the church has voted to have a combined Christmas service on Saturday, Dec. 24 at 2 p.m. Consider joining us for this special time in the Lord.
Looking for a home church? There are so many excellent churches in our area it may be hard to find that right “fit.” If this describes you, stop by and visit us sometime. What’s our dress code? Simply put, there isn’t one. Come as you are, we just ask that you wear clothes. For more information about the church and different activities that are available, visit us on the web at www.stanfordchurchofthenazarene.com, and as always don’t forget to “like” us on Facebook. Also, you can always contact the church at (606) 365-1260 and leave a message. Pastor Buford or someone else will give you a call back. Want to see a service? We have established a Youtube channel and all services are posted to the channel and linked to the Facebook page.
