Stanford Baptist hosting community Hanging of the Green service
The congregation of Stanford Baptist Church will host the community Hanging of the Green service on Sunday, November 27, at 6 p.m. A service of readings and music, there is something for everyone as we as our community welcomes the Advent Season. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow the service. An offering to benefit Fort Logan Cooperative Services will be received.

Kingsmen Quartet to be in concert
The Kingsmen Quartet will be in concert at Calvary Hill Baptist Church, 100 John Street, Stanford on Friday, Nov. 18 starting at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

Brian Free & Assurance in concert
Brian Free & Assurance will be in concert Thursday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Lancaster Church of the Nazarene, 131 Victory Lane. There is no admission charge, however a love offering will be received. For more information, call (859) 792-3254.

Hanging of the Green service at Calvary Hill Baptist Church
Calvary Hill Baptist Church will hold a Hanging of the Green service on Sunday, Nov. 27 at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Thanksgiving dinner at Moreland Christian Church
Moreland Christian Church is offering a Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 24. This is a Thanksgiving meal featuring all of your favorite foods. You can eat at the church or have your meals delivered to your house. We will start serving food at the church at 11 a.m.  All deliveries will go out at 11:30 a.m. The meal will end at 12:30. Contact Brad Smith at (859) 326-1909 for more information.

Hilltop House of Praise
Hilltop House of Praise is located at the top of Halls Gap Hill – follow the signs from there. Mike Martin, pastor. November 20 at 11 a.m., Thanksgiving service and  at  6 p.m. is Overcomers Service with Tim Readnour; November 27 at 11 a.m. regular service and 6 p.m. with Stoney and Beth Buckner. Every Wednesday at 7 p.m., there is a Bible study about Chasing God.  
Stanford Christian Church 
Thanksgiving is just that – a time for giving thanks. One would think that those areas of our lives which are blessed, that we would give thanks daily. Tragically, we don’t. This is Thanksgiving Sunday; come, celebrate this happy occasion with us at 10:50 a.m. the Stanford Christian Church, 200 East Main Street (next to the Courthouse).

Harris Creek to have singing
There will be a singing at Harris Creek Baptist Church on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. with Heaven Bound singing. The church is located at 2205 Harris Creek Road.

McKinney Baptist clothing ministry
The McKinney Baptist Church has a clothing ministry. Clothes are given to anyone who has a need with no charge to the recipient. We are in need of children’s clothing in all sizes at this time. Please call (606) 346-2741 for more information.

Come join us Sunday nights at 6 p.m. at Crab Orchard Church of God on  Cedar Street. Messages on the Coming of the Lord. Wednesday night services are at 7 p.m.- Bible study in the Book of Revelation and we have Kids Club during Bible study.
