Area football teams know who their district opponents will be in the 2025 and ’26 seasons after the KHSAA Board of Control finalized an alignment at its meeting last week in Lexington.

Boyle County will play in a district that looks very much like its current district in Class 4A, while Danville will be in a completely different district in Class 2A.

The KHSAA board approved requests by Taylor County, Bardstown and LaRue County to move from the districts they were placed in in a draft alignment that was approved in February, and those moves affected the districts that will contain local teams.
