Ephraim McDowell Health is sponsoring a free health screening at Vision Worship Center in Danville on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. 

They are also sponsoring a free health screening at the Mercer County Extension Office in Harrodsburg on Feb. 27 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

A health screening that was scheduled for Feb. 17 at First Baptist Church in Danville has been canceled. It will be rescheduled for a later date.

Health screenings on Feb. 24 and 27 that will be offered are cholesterol, blood pressure, body mass index, mental health, and take-home colorectal cancer screening kits (over age 45).  After the screenings are complete, participants will have the opportunity to discuss their results with a licensed health professional.
