NEWS RELEASE

Following a rousing success last month with Joslyn and the Sweet Compression, this month’s Downtown Downbeat series show in Danville will take place on Thursday at Weisiger Park at Courthouse Square and will feature Kentucky-based Alice Blue Gown.

The group continues to build a strong following due to shows across Kentucky where they delight audiences with their own rockin’ brand of alternative rock covers from the ’90s. Lead singer Shannon “The Dude” Grigsby, known for his position on two sports talk radio shows, brings the energetic lead vocals while the rhythm section drives the band through a wide array of songs to energize the crowd. Also featured in Downtown Downbeat is an opening act at Constitution Square.
