Theodore “Ted” Louis Munday, 77, of Stanford, Ky passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Ted graduated from Purdue University and went on to serve in the U.S. Military. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He was a Deacon Emeritus at Stanford Baptist Church; and was also a member of the Grand Lodge of Kentucky F. & A.M. and Lincoln Lodge #60. Ted loved his family and his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Myra Swope Munday; one son, Dr. George Swope Munday and wife, Dr. Miranda Smith Munday; two grandsons, Elijah Swope Munday and Micah Swope Munday.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Gladys Munday.
A one-day service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery with Pastor Steve Webster officiating.
