Kaycie is a graduate of Lincoln County High School where she played softball, tennis, golf, and was a member of the swim team. After high school she attended Union College on a 4-year athletic golf scholarship and double majored in Marketing & Media Communications. She was the Union College Class of 2021 Valedictorian.

As interim director, Kaycie oversaw baseball, softball, soccer and football this year. She also held the first ever fall baseball and softball seasons that had over 220 kids participating. She created new social media outlets to help promote parks and recreation and allow for more community engagement like the most recent project where the department took clothing donations to help Lincoln County Schools Family Resource Centers.

“I am so thankful for previous Judge Executive Jimbo Adams, new Judge Executive Woods Adams, fiscal court, and members of this community for supporting me in this new position,” said Bandura. “My heart was made to serve children in this community and this job allows me to do just that and so much more.”

Bandura says one of her goals is to develop a youth golf program in Lincoln County. “I want to build a public driving range on some of our land at the park where I could give individual lessons and teach beginner classes to our youth. It could be a great feeder program for our middle and high school golf teams.”
