Linda Lou Hodge, 67, of Mount Vernon, KY passed away Wednesday, November 9th at her home.
She was the widow of Walter Ralph Hodge who preceded in death on May 8, 2001. Linda was born in Somerset, Kentucky on November 28, 1954. She was a daughter of the Late Swannie B. and Eliza Jane (Lowery) Cummins. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon having rededicated her life in 2010. The Lord was most important in her life and she was such a loving and sweet person. She had a giving heart and she loved all of her friends and neighbors. She enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens and was the prayer leader at the center. Linda also enjoyed arts and crafts especially coloring.
Survivors Include her Fiancé, Jessee Richmond of Mt. Vernon; Sister, Gloria Blevins of Broughtontown; Sister, Janice & Husband, Leon Davidson of Mt. Vernon; Brother, Michael Cummins of Mt. Vernon; and Sister, Lizzie Cummins of Williamsburg
In addition to her parents and husband, Linda was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Daniel Cummins
Funeral Services were held at 12:30 PM on Monday, November 14th at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel in Crab Orchard, with Bro. Jon Burdette officiating. A Visitation begin Monday morning prior to the funeral service. Burial followed at Poplar Grove Cemetery in Williallia in Rockcastle County.
Jesse Richmond, JR Steele, Russell Hodge, Michael Cummins, Devin Davidson, Drew Davidson will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers were Billy Hodge, and her special friends at the Senior Citzens Center.
