NEWS RELEASE

Isaiah House has named Andrew Hager as the associate director of community engagement.

Hager, the host of the recovery-focused “Andrew Hager Live” podcast with more than 600,000 Facebook followers, will oversee a team focused on doing service projects in Kentucky communities that are suffering from the adverse effects of substance use disorder. Through this work, Hager and his team will show them that there is help and hope.

“It’s an absolute blessing from God to be joining the Isaiah House family,” said Hager. “This is an organization whose foundation is saving lives while also working to restore the family unit and providing jobs. As someone in recovery, those are some of the most important pieces, and I can confidently say that Isaiah House is showing love to people with those services as good as anyone else.”

Along with the “Andrew Hager Live” podcast, Hager is also the founder of the Versailles-based nonprofit, “Blameless Children”. Its mission is to meet the needs of children who have been cast aside amid their parents’ addictions. Each year, Hager and Blameless Children host a fundraising event to collect donations for children effected and offer them a stage to tell their stories and show off their talents.

“Over the past few years, we’ve become very fond of Andrew’s work and his passion to help those struggling,” said Isaiah House President Kevin Horn. “I’m excited to have him joining our team and having our platform to continue reaching those who need our help to see themselves become the dads, brothers, mothers, sisters, and children that Christ designed them to be.”
