Congratulations to Lincoln County Middle School 8th grader Alexa Estes for winning a state championship art award at the Kentucky State Fair last weekend.

The artwork originated in Mrs. Gibson’s seventh-grade art class and then was entered into the 4-H art competition at the Lincoln County Fair where it won first place. From there, the piece was entered to the state competition where she won 1st place this past weekend. Photo submitted
