Linda Faye (Kidd) Owens, 70 of Crab Orchard passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Baptist Health in Lexington. She was born on February 14, 1951, in Hustonville, Kentucky to the late Claude and Martha Belle (Griffin) Kidd. Linda was baptized at a young age and enjoyed reading, gardening, watching westerns, scrapbooking, and working on the family tree.
Survivors include her Daughter, Leslie Gail Owens & Husband, Jimmy Eller; Son, Robert Daniel Dean Owens & Wife, Sarah; Four Sisters: Lou Anna Stevens, Mary Christine Luttrell, Rosalea Owens & Bobby Jean (Dean) Hughes;
Five Grandchildren: Joseph Alan (Lauren) Sayre, Matthew Trey (Alexus Young) Sayre, Kimberly James (Justin) Stapp, John Lewis Wolfe Merryman & Robert Daniel Jackson Owens; Two Great Grandchildren: Zion Ka’mel Young & Theodore Joseph Sayre; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by four brothers, William Lawrence Kidd, James Henry Kidd, Ernest Lee Kidd, and Claude Kidd, Jr.
Funeral Service 12 Noon, Thursday, October 7, 2021, at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 5 pm – 8 pm on Wednesday and from 10 am until 12 Noon on Thursday. Place of Burial: Dix River Church of Christ Cemetery.
