Oscar Frazier “Pete” Singleton, 95, went home to meet his Lord and Saviour on Friday, September 17, 2021 at his home in Fairfield, Ohio. Born on September 2, 1926, in Crab Orchard, KY to the late Oscar and Aberdeen Singleton. Preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Bell Tincher, Ruby Croushorn, Margaret Toller and brother, Marshall Singleton. He is survived by his four children, Mitzi (Randy) Smith, Mark (Karen) Singleton, Monte (Sheri) Singleton and Melissa (Doug) Mayer. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. He retired from Teamsters after a long truck driving career. He loved the Lord and spent most of his life spreading the gospel and distributing his biblical writings everywhere he went. He always had a story to share with his family and friends, enjoyed listening to gospel music, reading Bible prophecy and raising a garden. He was dearly loved and admired and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 22nd at the McKnight Funeral Home from 12 PM – 2 PM. Funeral immediately following the visitation. Burial will be at the Crab Orchard Cemetery. Donations in his honor, may be sent to Bible Baptist Church, West Union, Ohio.
