Brenda Hill, 71, of McKinney, KY passed away on August 29, 2021, in Louisville, KY. Born on June 14, 1950, in McKinney to the late Howard and Marcella Lucas Wilcher. She enjoyed creating and arranging flowers and wreaths. She was a selfless and very giving person in nature. She loved her children and grandchildren, always putting their needs before her own. She was a member of South Fork Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Hill of McKinney, KY; one son, Jim Hill of Lexington, KY; two daughters, Jill Horn (Tony Wesley) of Hustonville, KY and Sandy Moseley (Richard) of Richmond, KY; one brother, Eddie Wilcher; four sisters, Thelma Denham, Velma Frederick, Linda Henson, and Janice Bush; nine grandchildren, Kevin Jones, Kristopher Jones, Cole Jones, Maelyn Moseley, Garrett Horn, Olivia Horn, Jackson Hill, Blake Hill and Landon Hill; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Marcella Lucas Wilcher; and one sister, Patricia Wilcher.
Visitation has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 1, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Matt Wilson and Bro. Curtis Brock officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers are Kevin Jones, Kristopher Jones, Cole Jones, Maelyn Moseley, Garrett Horn, Olivia Horn, Jackson Hill, Blake Hill and Landon Hill. Honorary Pallbearers are Tony Wesley and Richard Moseley.
