1950-2021

F. Dale Allen, 70, of Stanford, KY passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021 in Danville, KY. Born on September 25, 1950 in Stanford, KY to the late Harold Frank Allen and Nancy Sandidge Allen. Dale worked in Auto Body Restoration for most of his life. Dale loved boating, fishing, camping and music and especially enjoyed playing and listening to gospel music. He was a member of Stanford Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Donna Wade Allen, of Stanford, KY; three children, Steve Allen (Judy Hibbs) of Natural Bridge, KY, Stacey Ann Allen (Eric Bender) of Stanford, KY and Chris Allen (Jasmine) of Richmond, KY; one brother, Ronnie Allen of Perryville, KY; one sister, LaVon Laswell of Moreland, KY; three grandchildren, Cody Gifford, Casie Allen and Christian Allen; three great-grandchildren, Natalie Gifford, Nora Gifford and Nova Gifford; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Nancy Allen.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Funeral will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Buford Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at McGirr-Sandidge Cemetery in Moreland, KY.

Active Pallbearers are Steve Allen, Tony Short, Eric Bender, Cody Gifford, Casie Allen, Chris Smith and Chris Allen. Honorary Pallbearers are Tommy Mason, Jim Fields, Billy Brown and Eddie “Popcorn” Brown.
