Ida Denham, 94, of Stanford, KY passed away on April 28, 2021. She was born on January 5, 1927 to the late Leslie and Ellender Brown Cottrell. Ida was retired from the Stanford House Nursing Home. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to church, yard work and traveling with her sons. She was a faithful member of the Stanford Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, A. Wayne Denham (Mary) of Louisville, KY and Randy Denham (Peggy) of Stanford, KY; three granddaughters, Kimberly Kennedy (Steven), Lisa Daigneault (Daniel) and Jennifer Denham; 10 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a special niece, Joyce Davis, and two special nephews, Leslie Denham and Vernon Denham.
A one-day service has been scheduled for Saturday, May 1, 2021. Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY, followed immediately by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Andy Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford, KY.
Active Pallbearers are Steven Kennedy, Daniel Daigneault, James Earl Davis, Jimmy Davis, Will Denham and Mark Peck. Honorary Pallbearers are Billy Brown, Leslie Denham and Vernon Denham.
Due to Covid-19, face masks will be required, and social distancing guidelines must be followed.
