Joy L. Faulkner Lear, 77, of Richmond, KY, passed away Friday, December 11th, at Baptist Health Hospital in Richmond, Kentucky. She was the widow of Billy Harmon Lear.
Joy was born in Madison County, Kentucky on September 17, 1943, a daughter of Arvella (Stone) Faulkner and the late Everette Faulkner. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Parker Seal and was a licensed real estate agent and a Kentucky Colonel. In addition to her family, Joy’s passions were flowers, crafts, and enjoyed traveling.
Survivors Include: her Mother: Arvella Faulkner of Richmond; Four Children: Lynn & Husband, Gary Grant of Richmond; Gayle & Husband, Les Cruse of Lake City, Florida; Russ & Wife, Ranjini of Austin, TX; Carla & Husband, Allen Roberts of Richmond, KY; Seven Grandchildren: Justin Williams, Matthew Lear, AJ Roberts & Wife Brandalyn, Curtis Roberts, Shawn Cruse & Wife Tina, Angie & Husband, Brett Tinch, Melinda & Husband, Matt Ard;
Seven Great Grandchildren; One Sister: Tina & Husband Tony Hill of Richmond; Two Brothers: Arlie Faulkner and Roger & Wife Darlene Faulkner all of Richmond
In addition to her father and husband, Joy was preceded in death by a Brother, Don Faulkner and a Step Grandson, Brad Grant
A Drive Thru visitation will be held from 11am until 12 Noon on Wednesday on December 16, 2020
at McKnight Funeral Home. Private Family Funeral Services will be observed but will be live streamed on the McKnight Funeral Home Facebook Page beginning at 12:30pm on Wednesday.
Burial will be in Hopkins Family Cemetery, Crab Orchard, Kentucky with Bro. David Evans officiating.
Pallbearers Include: Les Cruse, Allen Roberts, AJ Roberts, Curtis Roberts, Shawn Cruse & Gary Grant.
