Carles Ray Tillett, 75, of Geneva, KY passed away at home on Saturday, December 5, 2020. Born on June 29, 1945 in Lincoln County to the late Charles Tillett and the late Sarah Coontz Tillett. He worked in construction, carpentry and farmed for most of his life. He enjoyed traveling, farming, and spending time with family, especially his grandkids. He was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Survivors include one son, Jamie Tillett (Amanda) of Geneva, KY; two daughters, Stacy Caudill (Randy) of Danville, KY and Tonya Todd (Robbie) of Stanford, KY; one brother, Tommy Tillett of Stanford, KY; nine grandchildren, Leann Hines (Brandon), Erica Miller (Brandon), Jordan Caudill (Trista), Kortney Caudill (Jordan), Caleb Todd, Cody Tillett, Devin Tillett, Kaitlin Caudill, and Jacob Riley Ray Tillett; five great-grandchildren, Jaydon Hines, Branson Miller, Brenna Miller, Danielle Reed, and Johnson Ruggow; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Jean Moore Tillett; parents, Charles and Sarah Coontz Tillett; two brothers, Billy Tillett and Orville “Arkie” Tillett; and one sister, Loraine Stidham and an infant sister, Gladys Tillett.

A private family service has been scheduled for Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY.

Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford, Ky.

Pallbearers are Jamie Tillett, Jordan Caudill, Caleb Todd, Cody Tillett, Devin Tillett, Jaydon Hines, Branson Miller, Brandon Hines, and Brandon Miller.

Honorary Pallbearers are Jacob Tillett and Johnson Roggow.
