Darryle Lynn Padgett, 53, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away at his home on Thursday, May 28, 2020. He was born on Nov. 9, 1966, in Stanford, Kentucky, to Leamond and Carolyn (Godby) Padgett. He was a 1985 graduate of Lincoln County High School. He was a manager of O’Reilly Auto Parts in Savannah, Georgia, and in Danville, Kentucky. Darryle enjoyed fishing, old cars, Kentucky basketball and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. Along with his parents, he is survived by wife, Patricia (Dunn) Padgett; two step daughters, Jenna (Dwayne) Payton and Cheyenne Dunn: one step son, Joshua Berry; two step grandchildren; one sister, Yolanda (Greg) Smith; one brother, Raymond Padgett; two nieces, Chasity (Zach) Asberry and Hannah (Corey) Dennis; one nephew, Austin (Haley) Smith; five great nephews; and Grandmother, Juanita Godby. Darryle was preceded in death by his first wife, Diane (Sergent) Padgett; grandparents, Robert Godby and Alva and Versie Padgett. A Memorial Service will be held 6:00PM Saturday, June 6, 2020, at The Gathering Place Church. Bro. John Edwards will be officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be the LCHS Class of 1985.
