All of our opportunities, abilities and resources come from God. They are given to us to hold in sacred trust for Him. Cooperating with God will permit us to generously pass onto others some of the many blessings from His rich storehouse … Just saying!

The South District Mass Choir will have its rehearsal on Saturday, February 15 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Danville.

There will be a Boneyville Days/Simpson/Hayes planning meeting on February 22 at 10 a.m. at the Boneyville Baptist Church. All committee members are asked to be present. Call Sara Givens if you need additional information at 606-669-1115.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Mr. Thomas Ray Hocker, son of the late Robert (Anna) Hocker Sr. The funeral service wil be on Saturday, February 15 at 1 p.m. Visitation starts at 11 a.m. on the same day at the Bethel A.M.E. Church, Boneyville.

Sympathy is also extended to the family of Mrs. Eddie Maye McGill Faulkner. The visitation was on February 12. The funeral will be held Thursday, February 13 at 11:30 a.m. at the Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home in Danville. Mrs. Faulkner was a 1950 graduate of the former Lincoln High School.

Mrs. Brenda Logan Cofer is now a patient at Signature HealthCARE of South Louisville, 1120 Cristland Road, Louisville, KY 40214. She is in Room 102 if anyone wants to send her a get well card.

There will be a Black History Program held at the Boneyville Baptist Church February 23 at 3 p.m. Mrs. Sandra Hill is the sponsor and Elder Robert Coulter Jr. is the pastor. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Ms. Barthenia Brown, Mrs. Sara Givens and Mr. Al Joseph Logan visited Mrs. Brenda Cofer at Signature HealthCARE in Louisville. They also met up with Mr. Eric Givens.

Continue to pray for Mrs. Linda Gooch Goodloe who has been in and out of the hospital and all others that are sick and shut-in.

Thought for the week: Doing the right thing should leave us with fewer regrets and better sleep at night.
