A basketball road trip to Southwestern Tuesday night proved successful for one Lincoln County team but not so for the other, as the Patriots and Lady Patriots split with the host Warriors and Lady Warriors.
The Patriots came away with a 63-43 victory over the Warriors in the nightcap of the doubleheader. Unfortunately, the Lady Patriots fell in the night’s opener, as the Lady Warriors rolled 68-36.
In the Patriot victory, Riley Bodner led a trio of Lincoln players in double figures with 19 points, Jaxon Smith followed with 16 points and Tramane Alcorn had 10 points.
Haleigh Releford was the Lady Pats’ top scorer with seven points.
