LCMS Eagles close 2019 on 5-1 run

The wins keep coming for the Lincoln County Middle School boys basketball teams.

The Eagles went 5-1 over the past week in home games, sweeping visiting Danville Bate Middle School and going 2-1 against Anderson County Middle School.

The sixth- and eighth-grade Eagles were perfect for the week to improve to 18-7 and 20-4, respectively. The 1-1 effort by the seventh-graders moved the team to 14-7.

The sixth-grade team, led by Lewis Cummins, is 8-2 in Salt River Conference play while the seventh-grade team is 6-4 and the eighth-grade team is 9-1. Carl-Lewis Cummins is the seventh-grade coach and Eric Ralston is the eighth-grade coach.
