Ashlyn Liddle of Waynesburg, a cross country and track competitor who is ranked as the state’s top female recruit by Kentucky MileSplit, will continue her running career at the collegiate level as she has signed with Lipscomb University.

Liddle, a senior homeschool student who runs for Bluegrass United, will graduate in May 2020 and she will begin her college cross country career in the fall at the Nashville, Tennessee school. She will finish out her high school season with two national meets: CCCNYC Youth Cross Country Championships in Shelbyville, Indiana, and Foot Locker South Regional Championships in Charlotte, North Carolina.
She has a season best 5000-meter time of 18:23.
