A Lincoln County School District bus was involved in an accident this morning while on its way to school. Since hearing the news of the accident, our district has been focused on monitoring the wellness of our students.

The accident occurred on Cemetery Road in Waynesburg. Local law enforcement quickly arrived on the scene and no serious injuries were reported.

Students were transported to their respective schools and families whose children were involved in the accident were contacted. Students involved have been evaluated by a school nurse as a precaution.
