Lincoln County grand jury indicts nine

The following people were indicted by a Lincoln County grand jury on July 29:

• Levi Hunter May, 27, Stanford: third-degree burglary; theft by unlawful taking of property belonging to Bluegrass Feed and Supply valued more than $500. Bail was set at $20,000. Lincoln County Sheriff Curt Folger testified.

• Paul D. Brown, 40, Lancaster: theft by unlawful taking of property valued more than $500; trafficking a controlled substance, methamphetamine; first-degree persistent felony offender. Bail was set at $25,000 and Folger testified.

• Jeffery L. Harrison, 49, Stanford: theft by unlawful taking of property valued more than $500. Bail was set at $25,000 and Folger testified.

• James Cody Bunch, 29, Kings Mountain: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, heroin; possession of drug paraphernalia, syringe. Bail was set at $5,000. Mike Mullin with the LCSO testified.

• Shane A. Sinkhorn, 42, Junction City: second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth. Bail was set at $25,000 and Mullins testified.

• Bennett Ross Williams, 62, Danville; two counts third-degree assault; resisting arrest. Bail was set at $25,000 and Mullins testified.

• Jack C. Hill, 44, Harrodsburg: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, heroin. Bail was set at $25,000 and Mullins testified.

• Jason Lee Murphy, 40, Liberty: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia, syringe. Bail was set at $5,000 and Mullins testified.

• Christina L. Abbott, 30, Danville: first-degree criminal abuse by intentionally abusing a child under age 12 or permitting the child to be abused, causing physical injury. Bail was set at $25,000. Jacob Shepherd with the Kentucky State Police testified.
