Lincoln County grand jury hands up indictments on 18

The following people were indicted by a Lincoln County grand jury on July 2:

• Tyler R. Dotson, 23, Danville: first-degree wanton endangerment; driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Bail was set at $20,000 cash or property. Lincoln County Sheriff Curt Folger testified.

• William Michael Kegley, 29, Nicholasville: first-degree robbery: Bail was set at $100,000 cash or property. Rob Oney with the LCSD testified.

• Jeremy R. Salyers, 26, Stanford: possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; endangering the welfare of a minor. Bail was set at $20,000 cash or property. Ryan Kirkpatrick with the Stanford Police Department testified.

• Danielle M. Smith, 24, Stanford: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; endangering the welfare of a minor. Bail was set at $20,000 cash or property and Kirkpatrick testified.

• Jesse C. Abel, 29, Danville: four counts third-degree assault on officers; resisting arrest; third-degree criminal mischief by destroying or damaging SPD property valued less than $500. Bail was set at $75,000 cash or property and Kirkpatrick testified.

• Terry L. Britt, 43, Albany: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; DUI; third-degree possession of a controlled substance, phentermine. Bail was set at $10,000 cash or property. Matthew Hutti with KSP testified.

• Henry T. Walker, 42, Junction City: receiving stolen property (tractor) valued between $500 and $10,000; engaging in conduct causing physical injury to his son because his son was a participant in a legal process. Bail was set at $5,000 cash or property. Deputy Mike Mullins testified.

The following people were directly indicted:

• James R. Haight, receiving stolen property valued between $500 and $10,000.

• Timothy Kidd: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth.

• Stanley McCoy: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth.

• James M. Phelps, 28, Hustonville: trafficking in a controlled substance, meth.

• Billy S. Wilson: flagrant nonsupport.

• James D. Wright: theft of services valued between $500 and $10,000.

The following people were granted pretrial diversion:

• Bruce E. Adkins: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth.

• Kevin Lynn Yocum: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth.

• Glenna Rice: possession of a controlled substance, meth.

• Rachel R. Preston: theft by unlawful taking of property valued between $500 and $10,000.

• Freddie Lee McKinney: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth.
