Michael Dewayne Salyers, 61, of Science Hill, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Edgemont Nursing Home.

He was born in Somerset on July 13, 1957, son of the late John Thomas and Norma Laverne (McKinney) Salyers. He was a member of Pilot Baptist Church and was an employee of the Leare Zieglar Factory in Danville.

He is survived by two brothers, Thomas Delynn Salyers of Danville and Kevin Mark Salyers of Waynesburg; a sister, Connie Sue Bullock of Casey County; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services were Wednesday, May 8, at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Stephens officiating. Burial was at the Pilot Cemetery in Eubank.
