Hello and praise the Lord from the Stanford Church of the Nazarene. He is Risen! He is Risen indeed! We are glad you have taken the time to read our article this week and hope you find some encouragement from it.

Question of the week: Did you know that all our hope rests on the resurrection of Jesus Christ?

To find more answers, you can visit YouTube and watch this past Sunday’s services. We joined together on Sunday morning celebrating the Risen Christ and looking at John 20 and John 21 on two examples of how the Risen Jesus restored hope, not only in His disciples, but also to all humanity.

A big thank you to Rev. Dennis Hasty who orchestrated a very special Good Friday service and also Sister Michelle Edwards who was able to pull off our annual Easter Egg hunt, with almost 1,000 eggs.

On Sunday morning, May 5, we will be visited by the Gideon’s International, hearing about God’s work around the globe. We will also be receiving a love offering for Gideon’s International.

Want to sing? Come join us on Sunday nights. The first Sunday night of every month is “Song and Testimony” night and every Sunday night is “open mic.” If the Lord has placed a song and/or testimony on your heart we would encourage you to come be with us and share.

Want to watch live but can’t make it on Sunday? Navigate to Bro. Buford’s Facebook page, (Buford Edwards II) and tune in for the Facebook Live, stream of Sunday’s services.

If you would like more information about our church and different activities that are available, visit us on the web at https://stanfordchurchofthenazarene.com, and as always don’t forget to “like” us on Facebook.
