We were happy to have Marvin Reynolds from Somerset with us Sunday, March 24 to lead the singing in Bro. Joseph’s absence. Jessica Page sang a special to ready us for the Lord’s Supper. “You’ve been so, so good to me! Oh, to think where I would be if not for You! Hallelujah, I’ll live my life in remembrance; Your promise I won’t forget!” Beautiful words to remind us how much Jesus gave up to provide redemption for us!

“Your Work Is Your Ministry” from 1 Thessalonians 4:9-12 was the focus for Bro. Kyle’s message. While God was faithful to the Israelites, He continues to be faithful to us every day. The Lord’s Supper is a remembrance that God has been faithful to restore us and spare us through Jesus’ shed blood.

“We don’t come to God with a list of our accomplishments in order for Him to accept us. We come to God through Jesus,” stated Bro. Kyle. That being said, we (the church) are a family and should love each other as a family does. We should reflect God’s love to others both in our church family and to others outside our own church.

We need to make the gospel believable by the lives we live. Someone is always watching us. We have to live like Christians Sunday through Sunday. “We need to ask what kind of example am I setting. Can people see Jesus in me?” stated Bro. Kyle.

The Ferguson Family will be singing at the Lincoln County Community Center Sunday, March 31 at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome!

Starting April 10, we will have the adult Bible study the first, second, and fourth Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary. The third Wednesday is reserved for the senior luncheons. Youth worship and GLOW will continue as normal (no change).

Pleasant View is making plans for a Good Friday service on April 19 at 6 p.m. at the church. More information will follow soon.
