Harris Creek Baptist Church will hold a singing on Sunday, March 17 at 6 p.m. featuring the Southern Heirs. Everyone welcome.

Lenten Lunches

The Lincoln Ministerial Association is sponsoring Lenten Lunches. All lunches start at noon and end at 1 p.m. Donations will be accepted and will go toward special causes that each church will identify at the lunch. Locations and dates for the lunches include: March 20 – New Beginning UMC; March 27 – Stanford Baptist Church; April 3 – Fairview Baptist Church (transportation provided); April 10 – Pleasant View Baptist Church (transportation provided).

Fish Fry at St. Sylvester Catholic Church

St. Sylvester Catholic Church, located at 100 Hwy. 1948 in Waynesburg (Ottenheim), will hold a fish fry Friday, March 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. Cost is $7 for adults, $3 for children six through 12 years of age, and children under six are free. All proceeds go to the St. Sylvester building fund.

Dix River Pentecostal Church to hold gospel singing

Dix River Pentecostal Church, located on Hwy. 27 South in Lancaster (next to the Burger House Restaurant), will hold a gospel singing on Saturday, March 16 starting at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served following the singing in the fellowship hall. Everyone is invited to enjoy the evening of old time singing and music. Bro. Walter Bowling, pastor.
