Higginbothams to sing at Mount Salem

The Higginbothams from Russell County will be singing at Mount Salem Baptist Church on Sunday, March 10 at 6:30 p.m. Everyone welcome.

The Calvary Heirs to sing at South Fork

The Calvary Heirs will be singing on Sunday morning, March 10 at 11 a.m. at South Fork Baptist Church. A fellowship meal will follow the service.

Lincoln County Woman’s Missionary Union Spring Rally

The Lincoln County Woman’s Missionary Union Spring Rally will be held Tuesday, March 12 at Willow Grove Baptist Church, 4306 Hwy 150 between Stanford and Danville. A light supper will be served at 6 p.m. in the basement fellowship hall. The rally will begin at 6:45 p.m. upstairs in the sanctuary.

Kim Brown Jones of Stanford will be speaking about her mission trip to Kenya and the miraculous dream that God used to lead her to Brighton, a child in the OVI Children’s Hospital in Migori, Kenya. The Spring Mission Project is collecting donations for the OVI hospital to buy baby formula. Donations can be brought to the rally or taken to the Lincoln County Baptist Association and designated for WMU – baby formula. Everyone is invited to attend.

Lenten Lunches

The Lincoln Ministerial Association is again sponsoring Lenten Lunches. All lunches start at noon and end at 1 p.m. Donations will be accepted and will go toward special causes that each church will identify at the lunch. Locations and dates for the lunches include: March 13 – Stanford Presbyterian Church; March 20 – New Beginning UMC; March 27 – Stanford Baptist Church; April 3 – Fairview Baptist Church (transportation provided); April 10 – Pleasant View Baptist Church (transportation provided).
