It’s going to be a Lincoln-Danville showdown either way you look at it Friday night in the 45th District Tournament championship games, with Lincoln County and Danville claiming the final two spots in both the girls and boys brackets.

The Lincoln County Lady Patriots, the tourney’s top seed and the four-time defending champion, will take on the two-seed Danville Lady Admirals in the girls title tilt at 6 p.m. Friday at Garrard County Middle School. Lincoln comes into the game with a 22-6 record. Danville’s record is 23-5.

The Lincoln Patriots knocked out defending champ Boyle County 72-60 Wednesday night to clinch their spot in the district final. Lincoln (19-12) is the tourney’s two seed. Danville, the tourney’s top seed, comes into the game with a 27-4 record. Tipoff for the boys game is approximately 7:45 p.m.
