John Eugene Watson, 75, of Hustonville passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019.

Born in Spartanburg, S.C. on August 15, 1943, John was a son of the late Sarah Lucy Justice and William Malcolm Watson. He worked as an agricultural salesman and was a member of Hustonville Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kay Watson; a daughter, Amy Watson, of Hustonville; a son, Daniel (Lisa) Watson of Danville; and a sister, Martha (Paul) Fox, III of Asheville, N.C.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 with Bro. Jonathan Grizzell officiating at Hustonville Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
