Area Grain Crops Producers meeting

An Area Grain Crops Producers meeting will be held Tuesday, Jan. 29 at the Boyle County Extension Office, 99 Corporate Drive, Danville. A meal will start the evening off at 6 p.m. followed by the program at 6:30 p.m. Meal reservations need to be made by January 28, by calling the county office at (606) 365-2459. Program will include row crop production tips at 6:30 p.m.; weed management strategies at 7 p.m.; and insect management at 7:30 p.m.

It’s more than just wings! Are you ready for the 2019 Super Bowl? On Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 11 a.m. at the Lincoln County Extension office learn how to use small kitchen appliances to make your Super Bowl gathering a winner! Create delicious snacks using an air fryer, multi-function electric pressure cooker and other appliances. Participants will also explore decorating ideas and ways to plan a Super Bowl themed party. Girls Who Code Clubs

Girls Who Code Club for grades 3-5 and 6-12 meet at Lincoln County Public Library. The next meeting will be Tuesday, Jan. 29. Scholarships available

The Democratic Women’s Club scholarship applications are available in the Lincoln County High School Guidance Center for LCHS senior students who are members of families registered as Democrats. The deadline for submission is February 15.

Memorial Class to plan reunion

Memorial Class of 1969 will meet Friday, Jan. 25 at noon at the Kentucky Depot Restaurant to plan its 50th Class Reunion. Any questions, call (606) 379-2343.

Lincoln County Spelling Bee

Lincoln County Public Schools will hold a County Spelling Bee on Tuesday, Feb. 5. All inquiries must be received by Tuesday, Jan. 22.

Holiday closing

The Lincoln County Health Department will be closed Monday, Jan. 21 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

Heritage BPW to meet
