Ashley Ortiz-Gaceta, 31, of Stanford, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

Born October 3, 1986, in Long Beach, Calif., Ashley was the daughter of Dianna Gail Cummins. She was an employee of Keeneland and O’Charleys where she worked as a waitress.

In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband, David Ortiz; her children, Blayke Isaiah Ortiz-Gaceta and Ashtyn David Ortiz-Gaceta; a brother, Robert Gaceta; a sister, Cassandra Gaceta; her grandmother, Helen Carlyene Adams; and her grandfather, Jerry Earl Cummins.

Visitation will be tonight (Thursday, Dec. 27) from 5-8 p.m. at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Green River Pentecostal Church in McKinney with Sis. Brooke Walls officiating. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
