Hello and praise the Lord from the Stanford Church of the Nazarene. We are glad you have taken the time to read our article this week and hope you find some encouragement from it.

Question of the week: Do you know that you sin? Do you acknowledge your sin before God and confess your sin, or do you make Christ out to be a liar by failing to admit your sin?

To find more answers, you can visit YouTube and watch this past Sunday’s services as we looked at Genesis 3:8-15 and the subject of “The First Promise” in our morning service and then turned our attention to 1 John 1 on the subject of “Walking in the Light.” Our focus this past Sunday has been our obedience to God through our submission to the Holy Spirit.

Want to sing? Come join us on Sunday nights. The first Sunday night of every month is “Song and Testimony” night and every Sunday night is “open mic.” If the Lord has placed a song and/or testimony on your heart we would encourage you to come be with us and share.

•Thanksgiving/ Christmas Lunch on Dec. 9 following the morning worship service.

•Church Christmas Party on Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

•Christmas play on Dec. 23 at 5 p.m.
