Free health screenings at New Salem Baptist

Ephraim McDowell Health is sponsoring a free health screening on Saturday, Nov. 10 from 8 to 10 a.m. at New Salem Baptist Church in Hustonville.
Health screenings include cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, body mass index, stroke risk and take-home colorectal cancer screening kits (over age 50) and flu shots (ages 12 – 17 must be accompanied by custodial parent or guardian). Screenings are open to the public for anyone 18 years of age and older.

World Day of Prayer

The Baptist World Alliance Women’s World Day of Prayer will be observed Monday, Nov. 5 at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 13571 Ky Hwy 1247 S, Waynesburg. A salad supper will begin at 6 p.m. in the basement fellowship hall. Bring your favorite salad and enjoy. Prayer time will begin at 7 p.m. We will be sharing and praying for needs of women around the world. Everyone is invited to attend (men included).

South Fork Baptist revival

South Fork Baptist Church will hold Fall Revival on Sunday, Nov. 11 at 6 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday, Nov. 12-14 at 7 p.m. Bro. Kevin Jones will be the evangelist. Special singing nightly.
