Revival will be held at Boneyville Baptist Church October 31 and November 1-2 at 7 p.m. each evening. Bishop Joseph Shea Brown, pastor of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church will be the evangelist. Elder Robert Coulter, Jr., is the pastor.

This Saturday, Oct. 27 at 10 a.m., the South District Association will have the Marie B. Shield – Stanford G. Redd Scholarship Institute at Boneyville Baptist Church. The dean of religious education, Bishop Joseph Shea Brown will be teaching the class and Dr. Darick Brisco, pastor of First Baptist Church, Danville, will be the preacher for the day. Rev. Tommy Calhoun, pastor of First Baptist Church, Lebanon, is the district moderator. Elder Robert Coulter is the host pastor.

The end of “Loyalty Month” at Bethel A.M.E. Church will be Sunday, Oct. 28, whereas it will be “Women’s Day”. The 3 p.m. guests will be Rev. Reginald Davis and congregation of Macedonia Baptist Church, Keene. Rev. Reginald Pullums is the pastor.

Mrs. Arleen Wilkinson has been released from Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Continue to pray for Elder Oliver Miller, he had surgery recently.

Mrs. DeAndrea Givens and Kameryn Jones of Louisville were in a car wreck. Kameryn, the great granddaughter of Sara Givens, has a fractured arm. DeAndrea is the wife of Mr. Eric Givens. She didn’t get hurt, only worried about Kameryn, her granddaughter. Pray for the both of them.

Ms. Barthenia Brown, Mrs. Louise Brown, Miss Dionne Givens and Mrs. Sara Givens attended the 25th pastoral anniversary of Rev. Barry Bowman and his wife, Mrs. Linda Bowman in Lancaster. He is the pastor of the Predestinarian Baptist Church, Lancaster. It was a “black tie” event.

Every Tuesday at 6 p.m., Mrs. Rosalyn Wilkinson teaches a women’s bible class at First Missionary Baptist Church on Martin Luther King Street. All women are invited to attend.
