Hello and praise the Lord from the Stanford Church of the Nazarene. We are glad you have taken the time to read our article this week and hope you find some encouragement from it.

Question of the week: Where have you placed your hope? Has hope died for you or do you find your hope in Jesus Christ, our one true and only hope in this world.

To find more answers, you can visit YouTube and watch this past Sunday’s services as Brother Buford returned to the Journey through Matthew, finishing up chapter 27 and the crucifixion of Jesus. In this two part sermon, we find Jesus on the Cross, still being mocked and ridiculed and God silent, until the moment of Christ’s death, when the veil was torn, the earth quaked, and the dead rose. Will it take these types of events for us to believe or can we put our faith in Him today?

Want to sing? Come join us on Sunday nights. The first Sunday night of every month is “Song and Testimony” night and every Sunday night is “open mic.” If the Lord has placed a song and/or testimony on your heart we would encourage you to come be with us and share.

Want to watch live but can’t make it on Sunday? Navigate to Bro. Buford’s Facebook page, (Buford Edwards II) and tune in for the Facebook Live, stream of Sunday’s services.

If you would like more information about our church and different activities that are available, visit us on the web at https://stanfordchurchofthenazarene.com, and as always don’t forget to “like” us on Facebook. Also, you can always contact the church at (606) 365-1260 and leave a message. Pastor Buford or someone else will give you a call back.

Have a blessed week and come see us sometime.
