George and Doris McKinney of St. Louis, Mo., stopped for lunch at the McKinney Depot Restaurant on Saturday, Aug. 18 on their way to Cumberland Falls in celebration of their 60th wedding anniversary.

They were joined by fifth, sixth and seventh generation family members of Archibald McKinney, founder of McKinney Station.

George and his brother Bowen grew up Mt. Salem before moving to St. Louis and Louisville. Doris is the daughter of the late Forrest and Lucy McMullins of Waynesburg.
